The second disc in Eagle McMahon’s Synergy Series has arrived! Choosing the Proton Resistor for his next entry - complete with another beautiful design from Green C Studio - this disc introduces the concept of equilibrium through two opposing forces equal in strength. Out on the course, not every round goes the way you hoped it would, and it becomes easy to let the negative feelings take over. This is something even professionals like Eagle McMahon have struggled with. However, through reflection and resistance he has learned that there is always good with the bad. The trick is finding equilibrium through that opposition, not uniformity - an acceptance of the natural order. New Time-Lapse, new Special Edition! Matthew Jorde brings us a typography-based stamp for the release of the Special Edition retooled Neutron Time-Lapse, adorning it with a clean style. The goal was to produce a stamp that was reminiscent of the first Time-Lapse SE, while still being its own thing - most fitting for a retool! Players will easily notice the difference between the original Special Edition Neutron Time-Lapse and this new retooled version, both by how it feels in the hand and its flight. Our goal for the Time-Lapse was to create a distance driver that high-power players would trust for controllable maximum distance, and lower-power players would appreciate for reliable and predictable flights. The retooled Time-Lapse is everything we wanted from the original run, and we are very excited about this one. As we mentioned previously, Simon recently released a Vlog on his YouTube channel revealing that we’ve been deep in the lab retooling our first 12-speed driver, the Time-Lapse. We’ve learned some incredibly valuable lessons over the course of the Time-Lapse’s history (which you can read about in MVP Disc Sports Co-Founder Brad Richardson’s Lab Report), and we’ve brought all of that experience to bear for the release of the new and improved retooled Neutron Time-Lapse! While many players found our overstable original run to be a great wind fighter, Simon and MVP had dreams of the Time-Lapse being a staple in everyone's bag as a workhorse max distance driver. Having made microscopic alterations to several aspects of the Time-Lapse, it now meets Simon and MVP's desired flight. As a result, we’ve updated the flight numbers to more accurately represent it, landing at 12 | 5 | -1 | 2. High-power players will enjoy the glide and flight-extending turn of the retooled Time-Lapse, while lower power players will find it to be a very usable go-to distance driver. As part of the 2024 MVP Open, the Streamline Shift debuted as a very special collaboration with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Through sales of the Shift, our incredible disc golf community raised over $50,000 that has gone towards helping treat children with life-threatening cases.
