Team Series Discs & The MVP Pro Shop

Team Series Discs – you’ve heard that title before, but if you aren’t a longtime MVP fan, you might not know the whole story behind them. In recent years, Team Series Discs have become much more readily available through our wholesale channels. Thanks to MVP turning its eyes towards the Disc Golf Pro Tour and supporting more touring players as the years go on, these discs have gotten more of a national spotlight. However, not too long ago, Team Series Discs were much like Team MVP itself used to be – under the radar.
Team Series discs used to only be found locally or on Buy/Sell/Trade groups online. Featuring great and imaginative art on some really sweet discs, more than a few of them wound up being pretty collectible. If you were in the know, you probably sought out a Team Series Disc here and there either to support one of your favorite people or just to get some cool art from a limited run. The Bendy James Volt marked a big turning point for Team Series Discs (a habit James Conrad formed for a lot of things at MVP), as the first truly widely available Team Series Disc. Since then, Team Series have been more readily available and become a key component of how we support our touring Team MVP players.
However, we don’t want to lose sight of our past and the original goal of Team Series Discs – helping support some unique and awesome art, as well as our unique and awesome local Team. As such, MVP will continue to drop a wide range of Team Series Discs on the MVP Pro Shop as they become available. These drops will happen here and there throughout the year, in fact, we just did our first big Team Series drop of 2025. There are some really cool stamps in there, with each sale supporting the player directly. If you can’t buy directly from these players, the MVP Pro Shop is your next best bet!
Team MVP still follows its original guiding light – we are looking for Good People First, and good players second. You might not recognize all of the names from this drop today, but you can be rest assured knowing they are all Good People who worked with some awesome artists to make their Team Series Disc dreams come true. I encourage you to take a look at the drop today to get a look at the first batch of stamps from Team MVP, and keep your eyes peeled for more drops as the summer goes on.
The MVP Pro Shop will continue in its journey to support Team MVP – all of Team MVP – and we’re very thankful to have you all along for the ride as well!
With this blog post winding down, I wanted to take a second to let you all know to expect more of these from MVP moving forward. We’re hoping to turn the website into a place that GYROnauts everywhere will want to visit more often, and more consistent posting will be step one of that journey. If you have any topics you’d love to hear us talk about – please reach out to mvp@mvpdiscsports.com! We have a good slate of weekly posts on the docket for the foreseeable, and we hope to see you back here next week!
